LITIGATION and APPEALS:
Our firm represents businesses and individuals in all forms of lawsuits, appeals, administrative proceedings and alternative dispute resolution. We have experience in a wide variety of areas of disputes (and complex litigation) involving antitrust, banking, business, commercial, construction, distributorship, employment, franchises, insurance, landlord/tenant/lease, mergers and acquisitions, product liability, real estate, securities regulations, suretyship, and title insurance matters. Our lawyers are admitted to practice in the State of Georgia and the District of Columbia, as well as numerous federal courts. While much of our litigation practice is based in Georgia, our attorneys work on disputes throughout the country in various courts and other forums.

We meet with our clients at the beginning of each matter and evaluate the best methods to achieve their goals. We know that our business clients are looking to us to help them resolve their business disputes on the terms most favorable to them. We also discuss with our clients the long-term impact of such disputes and how best to resolve the disputes while retaining the business relationship for the clients with the other parties, if advisable. We also advise clients how to avoid business disputes by careful examination of situations and thoughtful drafting of contracts.

CORPORATE FINANCE:
A substantial portion of the Firm's practice is devoted to assisting clients in private fund-raising, investment and securities transactions. Our attorneys have extensive experience in the increasingly complex areas of corporate structure, funding acquisitions and divestitures, corporate, project and asset financing and securities law compliance.

Our advice on how to take advantage of exemptions from the registration requirements of the federal and state securities laws has proven extremely valuable to many clients. In addition, our attorneys have successfully represented  and participated in numerous private offerings and placements to investors throughout the United States and, in some instances, in foreign jurisdictions.
